1 in 6 men will experience domestic violence over their lifetimes. (Council of Europe, 2002; BMA 1998; Home Office Research Study, 1999)

Although most of reported incidents are by woman being abused by a man, domestic abuse does not just happen to woman. If you are a man experiencing domestic abuse, it is important that you report the incidents to the Police and in case of an emergency call 999.
