This Code of Practice has been developed by Stockport Domestic Abuse Forum to provide guidance to agencies in dealing with domestic abuse situations.

The code is dedicated to employers and employees but it can also be used as guide for dealing with client victims.

This document is based on the Council's Domestic Abuse Policy, which was published in April 2002.
